What to Bring:
A water bottle! It's hot out so hydration will be important. Gloves, loppers, pruners, shears, tarps (that you don't mind getting scratched up) and hand-saws are all welcome additions to the event, and some extra tools and gloves will be provided as well for those who don't have their own.
What NOT to Bring: Do not bring power tools, herbicides, or root wrenches! These tools do not align with our current removal plans and cannot be utilized at events.
What to Wear:
Wear long clothing to help protect your arms and legs from the thorns of buckthorn! Additionally long pants with tucked in socks helps protect against both ticks and poison ivy (We will generally be avoiding areas with poison ivy but it's best to be protected in case). Wearing sunscreen and bugspray is highly reccomended, extra will be provided.
Air Quality Notice
Due to fire's in northern MN and Canada this year air quality can change quickly. If the AQI reaches 150 on the morning of, the day's event will be automatically canceled.

We are returning to East River Trail for end of the year follow up work at our orginal site! No loppers needed, we will be focusing exclusively on stripping leaves from previously cut plants for this event.
